Course description                                                                                                                                                                                                                          This is a 2-year course comprising the following:

• The AS Level: a one-year programme and a qualification in its own right. Students who are successful can proceed to a second year of study (A2).
• The A2 Level: also a one-year programme leading to the full A Level qualification
  
  Note: You can only take an A2 Level after you have completed the AS Level in the subject.

Minimum Requirements
You will need grade C in GCSE Mathematics and grade C in GCSE English. Like working with numbers although the subject is not highly mathematical.
No prior knowledge of Accounting is required.    

Examinations
We provide courses leading to the following examinations:

• AQA, OCR and Edexcel International
• Exams can be taken in January and June                                                                                                                                       

Where does this course lead to?                                                                                                                                                                                               Many students who take AS or A Level Accounts go on to study finance, management or accounting at degree level or embark on professional qualifications such as the ACCA, CIMA, etc.   Likely careers include accountancy, banking and management.
